PoolHunter Quickstart
Get the most out of PoolHunter in 2 minutes.
Find better customers. Build denser routes. Drive less.
Create an Anchor Point to find and monitor nearby pool prospects. Add or import your Customers, then organize them into Routes to monitor opportunities around the pools you already service.
An anchor point is required to find prospects. Customers and routes are optional but recommended to get the most out of PoolHunter.
1. Open Prospects.
2. Sort by Anchor, shortest drive time first.
3. Apply additional filters to narrow your audience.
4. Select and export your prospects.
Grow where you already work.
Use the “Closest to existing customers” Smart List or follow the manual steps below:
1. Open Prospects.
2. Sort the Customer Density columns (<1, <5, <10), highest first, to find prospects with the most customers nearby.
3. Filter by a Customer Density bucket to show only prospects with at least one customer in that bucket.
4. Apply additional filters, then select and export.
Customer Density shows how many existing customers fall within each drive-time bucket.
Target growth around routes with room for more stops.
Use the “Closest to selected routes” Smart List or follow the manual steps below:
1. Open Prospects.
2. Select the route or routes you want to grow.
3. Sort Customer Density, highest first, to find prospects near the most customers on those routes.
4. Filter by a Customer Density bucket to show only prospects with at least one selected-route customer in that bucket.
5. Apply additional filters, then select and export.
Selecting routes updates the density counts to include only customers on those routes.
Find opportunities at for-sale or recently sold homes.
1. Open Prospects.
2. Filter by For Sale or Recently Sold.
3. Sort by Anchor drive time or Customer Density.
4. Select and export your prospects.

Review stops with few nearby customers.
Use the “Isolated customers” Smart List or follow the manual steps below:
1. Open Customers.
2. Sort the Customer Density columns (<1, <5, <10), fewest first.
3. Apply additional filters, then select and export for review.
Consider adding customers nearby, adjusting pricing, or deciding whether these stops still make financial sense.
See how a potential customer fits your existing service area before quoting or scheduling.
1. Open Lead Lookup.
2. Enter the lead’s Property address and select the matching address suggestion.
3. Review the driving time from your anchor points, nearby customers, and their route memberships.
4. Use the map and proximity information to assess whether the address fits where you want to work.
Looking up an address does not add it to your prospects or customers.
Review driving time and distance, then improve stop order.
1. Open Routes and select a route.
2. Use Calculate to see driving time and distance, or Optimize to improve stop order.
3. Save to keep your changes.
Manually reordered routes are calculated automatically on save. Calculating or optimizing alone does not save your changes.
Include supplier visits and other non-customer stops.
1. Add the stop’s address as a Customer, using the supplier’s name.
2. Assign it to the route or routes that visit it.
3. Open each route, position the stop as needed, and Save.
The same customer or supply stop can belong to multiple routes.
